If you have purchased car audio or vehicle security elsewhere we are more than happy to install them for you. We have our own installers on site full time who has over 15 years of experience. We can install all brands of car audio.

We can also install vehicle security. We sell AVS, Dynatron, and Mongoose systems, however we are more than happy to install Uniden sytems. We have everything needed to do a professional installationals onsite.

Head Unit Installation

Hyper provides 2 methods of headunit installation, which vary in price. Examples of each are shown in illustrations below.

FACTORY CAR WIRING

Factory stereo plug is cut off and removed.

HEADUNIT WIRING

Comes in bare wire form with headunit.

 

CRIMP TERMINALS
Crimp terminals are used to connect after market headunit to factory wiring

KEY NOTES
Although this type of installation is cheaper, it can make it much more difficult to re-install the factory stereo if your vehicle is on sold and you wish to keep the after market headunit.

Comes specific to the make of vehicle retaining the factory stereo plug for easy re-install at a later date. Comes with a cost of $19.99.

ISO CONNECTORS

ISO Connectors are a universal fitting type commonly used on European vehicles.

Although this type of installation requires extra parts, re-install of the factory sterio is almost easy enough to do yourself and is a very reliable method of connection.

FITTING KITS/POCKETS

In some cases your vehicle will require a fitting kit due to the non-standarised shape of your factory stereo. This will make the installation of your after market headunit seamless and aesthetically pleasing. Pockets may also be required in some cases at an additional cost.

COAX SPEAKERS

In some cases after market speakers may require wooden spacers to clear moving parts in doors such as windows etc. If required spacers start from $19.99.

COMPONENT SPEAKERS
