Well the tyres are factory spec, and our regular mechanic says Ford Territory's run better on them and get better mileage than other brands, so we bit the bullet and got them. They'll be ideal, I think.
We wanted our regular mechanic to fit them, as we live in a small town and the HyperDrive contractor is an hour and a hald round trip away. To do this meant we didn't get free delivery, so to save a few hundred dollars in frieght, we went to their Contractor- Russell Keeler Automotive in Gore (highly recommended after our experience).
4 tyres were dispatched, but only 3 arrived on our side of Cook Strait. Couriers will take a big item out to fit many small items in, apparently.
HyperDrive and Russell front footed everything and communication throughout was excellent. Delayed by a few days, but it all worked out fine. Very happy with 40% HyperDrive discount running at the time.
Importantly for me, the contractors also seem to be doing well out of this, so it seems like a sustainable business model all round- online prices and supporting local brick & mortar businesses. A win, win & win. .
