99 DAY RETURNS POLICY
At Hyper Drive, we want you to shop with confidence. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a generous 99-day return period on eligible items, provided they are returned in new and unused condition.
Full-price items may be returned within 99 days of purchase if they are:
- Unused and in brand-new condition
- In original, unmarked packaging
- Returned with proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation)
For change-of-mind returns, we offer:
- Store credit, or
- An exchange
Store credit allows you to choose the right product for your vehicle at a later date.
SALE ITEMS
Sale items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
However, this does not affect your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act if an item is faulty.
SPECIAL OR INDENT ORDERS
Special or indent orders are items sourced or ordered specifically at the customer’s request.
Because these goods are procured or manufactured to order, special/indent orders are final and cannot be cancelled, returned, or exchanged for change of mind once the order has been confirmed.
Please ensure all specifications, fitment details, and order information are correct prior to confirming your purchase.
This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act if the item is faulty.
WHEELS & TYRES
Wheels and tyres may only be returned if they remain new and unused.
Once wheels or tyres have been fitted to a vehicle, or tyres have been mounted onto wheels, they are no longer considered new or unused and cannot be returned, even if they have not been driven on.
This is due to safety requirements and resale standards.
FAULTY RETURNS & REPAIRS
If you believe your item is faulty, please follow the return process below.
Once received, we will inspect the item and, where required, forward it to the manufacturer for assessment.
If the item is confirmed to be faulty, you may be entitled to a:
- Repair
- Replacement
- Refund
Please allow up to two weeks for faulty returns to be processed, depending on supplier approval.
Return postage will be reimbursed if the fault is confirmed.
HOW TO RETURN YOUR ITEMS
If you need to return an item, follow these steps:
COMPLETE THE RETURN FORM: Complete the Exchanges & Returns form.
PACK YOUR ITEMS: Securely pack all items, along with your invoice, in a sturdy box or use the original packaging. If returning boxed items, ensure they are securely enclosed in a satchel, as damaged returns will not be accepted.
LABEL THE PACKAGE: Hyper, 434B Church St East, Penrose, Auckland 1061
SHIP THE PACKAGE: You can visit your local Post Office to send the package to the labelled address. We recommend using insured registered post, as Hyper Drive is not responsible for lost return parcels.
When we get your return, we will review and process it within 48 hours to ensure a quick exchange or refund.
NOTE: Hyper will cover the cost of shipping the replacement product to you. However, you must cover the return shipping costs to our Penrose location.
ADDITIONAL TERMS
- Returns are processed Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
- Returns are typically reviewed within 48 hours of arrival
- Items returned in unsatisfactory condition may not be accepted
- Freight fees for incorrectly ordered items are non-refundable
- A restocking fee may apply in certain cases
