Hyper Drive Roof Box hire is the smart way to get your gear out and about with out all the upfront cost.
If you are heading to the mountain for the weekend, off to explore the country on that camping trip, or even just need some extra room in the car - we have a roof box to suit almost every situation.
Order online and choose the number of days you would like to hire and the size of box you are after.
Place a note with the dates you require in the coments section of the checkout and we will work out the rest.
If you like the convenience of having a roof box and would like to purchase one, we can put your hire cost toward the purchase price. This credit can be applied to any new roof box of your choice*!

Roof Box Hire Policy:
- Roof Box Hire is subject to availability
- Compatible Roof Racks will be required to fit the box to your vehicle
- A non refundable deposit equivalent to a weekends hire must be made in advance for all bookings, with the balance of the hire fee(s) payable upon pick up.
- Photo ID required for Roof Box Hire - either a Valid Drivers Licence or Passport
- Eftpos, Cash and all major Credit Cards accepted.
- Goods and equipment are to be returned to the store by 5 pm on the last day of hire period. If period is exceeded, the daily Hire rate will be charged as a late fee.
- Weekend hire is pick up Friday - return Monday, or pick up Saturday - return Monday. One day hire is the same as for a weekend, allow pick up on the day before and return the day after. One week means 7 days, or part thereof. For extra days above hire period use the daily rate of $15 per day.
Roof Box Hire Usage:
- Do not drive into garages, car ports, parking buildings, drive through food services etc.
- Loads must be secured in the roof box with the straps provided. Loose loads can cause damage to the Roof Box itself or the gear inside.
- The key is not removable unless box is locked. When locking, check that all locking points are securely engaged.
- If the lid does not close easily or you have difficulty turning the key, the box may be overloaded. Redistribute the load and check again.
- Observe the maximum load limit of the Roof Box.
- Do not exceed the speed limit, and reduce speed in windy conditions.
- Avoid opening the box in strong winds, get another person to help and hold on to the lid if necessary - high winds can rip a lid off the box.
- It is the responsibility of the hirer to keep the equipment safe. In the case of theft / loss / damage of hired goods, the hirer is responsible for paying the full value of the goods.

For items showing "In stock at Hyper Drive, ships today " orders placed before 3 pm will leave the same day
*Larger item(s) may take an additional day to be picked up by carrier.
For Items showing "In stock at Distribution Centre -Ships in 1-2 working days " orders placed will take an additional 1-2 working days before they are shipped.
This means the item comes from a 3rd party warehouse and will be despatched in up to 2 business days time.
Outside of business hours during public holidays and weekends, nothing will be shipped, as courier companies do not operate.
All orders paid by bank deposit will be processed and shipped the day funds clear in our bank accounts. This usually takes up to two working days.
Pick-ups are welcome between business hours (Mon-Fri 8 am-5 pm and Sat 9 am-1 pm). Payments are welcome to be made in-store.
