The Thinkware U1000 2CH Kit delivers premium front and rear vehicle protection with ultra-high-resolution recording and advanced monitoring features. The front camera records in stunning 4K UHD 3840 x 2160 at 30fps, while the included rear camera records in 2K QHD 2560 x 1440 at 30fps, helping capture number plates, road signs and important details from both directions with excellent clarity.
The front camera uses an 8.42MP Sony STARVIS image sensor, while the rear camera uses a 5.14MP Sony STARVIS sensor. A 150° front viewing angle and 156° rear viewing angle provide broad coverage around the vehicle, while the front camera can also be set to record in 2K QHD at a smoother 60fps.
Built-in Wi-Fi makes it easy to connect the U1000 to a compatible smartphone for reviewing footage, downloading recordings and adjusting camera settings. Integrated GPS records vehicle speed and location information and also supports Thinkware's compatible safety-camera and driver-assistance alerts.
For added protection when your vehicle is unattended, the U1000 supports advanced Parking Surveillance modes including Energy Saving Parking Mode 2.0. It is also compatible with Thinkware's optional radar module, which can detect approaching vehicles while parked and help extend monitoring time by keeping the dash camera in a low-power state until activity is detected.
