Bought 2 of these to replace Conti ExtremeContact, didn't expect much difference, but very pleasantly surprised. The price through Hyper is competitive, only $50 more than buying from Tirerack so went with the locals. They give the rear of the car a much more sure footing than the Conti's, less "bouncy", very solid in the wet, haven't had the rear step out with these on yet. I give the tires 5 stars, but the guys who fit them were worse than useless. He had his rattle gun set to clockwise and broke a wheel bolt and stripped the thread in the hub on one side, then tried to blame it on the car by saying they were already loose. Its not possible as I track the car regularly and check the torque every 6 months and never had them loose, but couldn't be bothered arguing with an idiot. I wouldn't take my lawnmower for repairs to them... now I have to replace two rear hubs at $200... please note that dealing with Hyper was a pleasure, simple and efficient, it was only the local fitter at Mt Eden Tyre and Mechanical who caused any problems.
